Residents invited to meeting to discuss grocery store options

MONONA — Residents of Monona and the surrounding area are invited to a town hall meeting Monday, March 9 and 5:30 p.m. at the Community Center to discuss options regarding a grocery store.
The City lost its lone full-service grocery story in January when Quillin’s Quality Foods closed its doors, leaving the nearest full-service stores in Waukon and Prairie du Chien.
The event is sponsored by the City of Monona and Monona Chamber and Economic Development.
