MCGREGOR — The longest-serving coach in MFL MarMac history is calling it a career.

Since 1973, Ron Vick has been coaching track and field, cross country, baseball and wrestling first at MarMac and later MFL MarMac, touching the lives of at least three generations of students and student-athletes.

“It’s time,” Vick said. “Looking back, I’ve had some tremendous talent.”

Vick began his teaching career at MarMac in the spring semester of 1974, teaching middle school and high school math while also coaching track, cross country, baseball and wrestling.
