Winter to play basketball at Upper Iowa

   MONONA — MFL MarMac senior Bailey Winter last week signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball at Upper Iowa University.

   “I’ve been wanting to play at Upper Iowa for awhile,” Winter said.

   “A lot of hard work, blood, sweat and tears have gone into this,” Bulldog girls’ basketball coach and Winter’s father Jason said.

   Bailey said location was a large factor in her decision.

   “I really liked where it was located at because it was close to home and my family could come watch me play next year,” she said. “The coaches are all super nice there, too.”
