Theme, date set for Monona Hay Days
MONONA — Save the dates of June 8-9 for Monona’s annual Hay Days festival.
The 2018 Hay Days Committee met for the first time last week to begin firming up plans for the event, which will be held one week earlier than recent years to avoid conflicts with Father’s Day and the Big Four Fair in Postville.
The theme for this year’s event will be “All Trails Lead to Monona,” playing on expansion of the community’s trail system that will take place this summer.
The event is expected to be similar to past years, including the Friday night Glow Run and Glow Party as well as the parade and events downtown.
Specific times and events will be announced at a later date.
