Season Review - MFL MarMac Cross Country

MONONA — A year of experience proved to be an elixir for the MFL MarMac High School volleyball team this season, with an experienced group of players leading the team to its most successful season in at least 15 years and possibly in the history of MFL MarMac High School.

The Bulldogs set at team record with 16 wins while finishing with a winning record for the first time since 2008. They also snapped a home losing streak that dated back two years and defeated every team in the Upper Iowa Conference except conference champion Clayton Ridge at least once.

The ‘Dogs finished 16-10 overall and were 5-3 in Upper Iowa Conference matches. Only a five-set loss at Clayton Ridge kept the ‘Dogs from finishing second in the league.
