MFL MarMac High School to present “Cinderella”
MONONA — MFL MarMac High School will present its annual fall musical next Friday and Saturday at the high school auditorium.
This year’s show, “Cinderella,” features a cast and crew of more than 28 students and is directed by Diane Fisk with assistance from Angie Killian and Erika Kielstrup.
Though the title is familiar, the story may not be. Fisk said she chose a version of the show performed on Broadway in 2013, which is drastically different than not only the animated version originally released in 1950 by Walt Disney Productions, but also different than Rogers and Hammerstein’s stage version first produced for television in 1957.
