MFL MarMac to celebrate Homecoming Week Sept. 30 – Oct. 5

MONONA — MFL MarMac will host its annual Homecoming Week festivities the Sunday, Sept. 30 through Friday, Oct. 5.

Highlights of the event include the annual parade and crowning of the Homecoming King Friday as well as crowning of the Queen during halftime of the Friday night football game against Lisbon.

Events begin Sunday at noon as local windows are decorated. At 4 p.m. action moves to the school for the powder puff and iron man football games. Following the games, there will be a Booster Club Athlete Auction fundraiser.

Homecoming king and queen candidates will be announced throughout the morning Monday. The candidates will eat lunch with the district’s elementary students Wednesday and have their formal photos that day as well.
