Memorial Day

   While Memorial Day services were cancelled most places around the country, the Monona AMVETS and other veteran’s organizations still took time last week to place flags in local cemeteries. AMVETS Post No. 27 placed flags in the Monona Cemetery as well as others in the community while also placing flags on the graves of veterans who are no longer with us.
