MONONA — Improvements will soon be coming to Monona’s Butterfly Garden.

Garden representative Jim Langhus outlined the plan to the Monona City Council during its regular meeting Monday night. The improvements will include placing cast iron truncated dome panels at two access points that will also include new sidewalks. Two panels will be placed in new sidewalk surface adjacent to the garden’s main entrance while four will be placed in proposed new sidewalk near the truck entrance to the garden on what would be a head to the garden trail.
