Hay Days to feature outdoor theme

   MONONA — The 2019 edition of Monona Hay Days will feature an outdoor-oriented theme. That was the consensus of the Hay Days Committee, which met for its first planning meeting last week.

   In the Heart of the Great Outdoors was the formal title, marking the second straight year that outdoor activities have been featured following last year’s “All Trails Lead to Monona” theme. In connection with the outdoors theme, the committee hopes to work information and activities about the Driftless Area into the day’s schedule.
