Grady named new Monona blood drive coordinator

MONONA — Carol Grady has been named Monona’s new Red Cross Blood Drive coordinator, replacing Celia Brown, who retired as the local coordinator earlier this year.

Grady recently retired from Garden View and is new to working with the blood drives. That said, she has donated blood for many years and is friends with Brown, whom she said will help her learn her now job.

“I guess (Brown) knows I’m a very caring person,” Grady said. “She knows I’m organized; I guess she figured I could handle it.”
