Five Bulldog girls earn all-conference honors

Five members of the Upper Iowa Conference large school division champion MFL MarMac girls’ basketball team earned honors last week as the conference announced its all-conference team.

Senior Kennedy McShane and sophomore Bailey Winter were first-team all-league selections while Kyleigh Picha was named to the second team and sophomores Brinan Berger and Jordan Schubert were honorable mention selections.

The quintet was the Bulldogs’ starting lineup through most of the year as they turned around their tough 2016-17 season with a 17-6 overall record in 2017-18 that included an 11-2 record in conference games.
