Department of Health reports second Clayton County COVID-19 death
The Iowa Department of Public Health Wednesday reported that a second Clayton County resident has passed away due to COVID-19.
Like the first individual who died from the diesease, the latest victim was reported to be over the age of 81 years old.
No further information was available and, as of 11:30 Wednesday morning, there had been no statement from County officials.
Twenty-nine of Iowa's 99 counties have recorded at least one death from the disease, with Clayton County having joined a list of 20 counties that have had multiple deaths.
